Gregory Hayward, 54, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center. Greg was born August 27, 1967 in Fremont the son of Graydon “Bud” Hayward and Tonya (Shinabery) Hayward.
Greg was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance. He owned and operated Hayward Rigging and Hayward Concrete in Bellevue with his father, Bud and son, Ian. Greg loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a “foodie” enjoying good food, Ipa’s, and a cigar. He also loved plants and tending to his garden and flowers. He enjoyed being a grandpa more than anything.
Greg is survived by his son, Ian (Amara) Hayward of Bellevue; daughters, Katie (Mike Montgomery) Hayward of Columbus and Lauren (Robert) Fields of Newark; 5 grandchildren: Karson, Maeve, Liam, Austa, and Adelia; mother, Tonya Hayward of Bellevue; father, Graydon “Bud” Hayward of Bellevue; significant other, Dawn Duke of Bellevue; brother, Mark Hayward of Bellevue; and mother of his children, Anne Hayward of Zanesville.
Greg is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Hayward.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
