Gloria J. Mott

Gloria J. Mott, age 77, of Sebring, Florida went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2021.  She was born November 13, 1944 to the late Foster and Anna Leapley. 

Gloria was a 1962 graduate of Miami East High School and worked in the banking industry for many years.  She enjoyed cake decorating, her family and church activities.  Gloria was an active member of Harvest Baptist Temple in Clyde, Ohio for many years and more recently a member of the Independent Baptist Church of Sebring, Florida.

Gloria will be greatly missed but remembered for her love of her Savior, loving personality, faithfulness, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her husband of 54 years and her family.

Gloria married Wayne R. Mott on April 7, 1967, and he survives along with their children: Wayne Rodney Mott of Piqua, Ohio, Brad and Louise Mott of Highland Falls, New York; six grandchildren: Bretannia & Ryan Leach of DeGraff, Ohio, Matthew Kiser of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, Scout Mott of Piqua, Ohio, Bradley, Brian, and Benjamin Mott of Highland Falls, New York and five great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother Steve and Pam Leapley; a sister, Julie Campbell; and sister-in-law, Cinda and Robert Bright.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 9 a.m. until a funeral service officiated by Rev. Allen Holmes begins at 10:30 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Temple, 1022 S. Main Street, Clyde, Ohio.  Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. at Honey Creek Cemetery, Christiansburg, Ohio.
