Gloria Fay Lawson

Gloria Fay Lawson, 81, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.  She was born June 20, 1941 in Wayland, KY the daughter of Virgil and Hester (Salyers) Rice.

Gloria worked for many years as an STNA.  She enjoyed being with friends and family especially going out to dinner with them.  In her later years she enjoyed playing games on the computer.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Rice of Huron and sister, Peggy Czeczeli of Belevue.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jeffery Lawson whom she married November 11, 1989 at Fellowship Baptist in Sandusky; sons, Michael, Timothy, and Scott Harkleroad; and siblings: Marvin Rice, James Rice, Clyde Rice, Herman Rice, Reba Rapp, Charlotte Alexander, Edna Salyers, Deborah Green, and Dorothy Lafferty.

Friends will be received on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 1 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 4 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will be in Scott Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral cost.
