George Andrews, 73,of Bellevue passed away Tuesday December 1, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, from The COVID Virus. He was born December 1, 1947 in Bellevue the son of Allen and Adah Glee (Taber) Andrews. He will always be known for his love of family, golf and fishing. A smile was never not on his face.
George was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church, Eagles Aerie 490, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Bellevue. Also a long time blood donor of The American Red Cross since 2011. And multiple charity events in Bellevue.
He is survived by his spouse, Margaret Andrews, of Marblehead. Companion, Linda Ralich of Milan. Daughter Tracey (Andrews) Schoen of Bellevue, 3 grandsons Trenton Hundley (Alyssa Zeiber)of Bellevue, Justin Hundley of Elyria, and Tanner Hundley (Danie Goodsite )of Bellevue. Dawn (Andrews) Edwards of Texas, 2 granddaughters Chantel Andrews (great granddaughter) Londynne Nash. Gabby Bennet of Texas. Son, Chad Andrews (Brittany Wilson) of New York. The late son Troy Andrews, Daughter in Law Megan Andrews of Norwalk, 2 granddaughters Devin (Corey Gilbert ) of Norwalk. And Lexi Andrews of Norwalk. Daughter Heather (Matt) Tortrlli of Brunswick, 2 grandsons Cody Lines and Cole Lines, granddaughter Cassidy Andrews. Great grandchildren, Avery Gilbert and Hudson Gilbert of Norwalk.
Step sons James Lovern and Tony Lovern of Graytown; 2 Step grandchildren Liam Lovern of Toledo. Jamie Lovern of Graytown. Brothers: James (Evelyn) Andrews of Bellevue, Kenneth (Glenda) Andrews of Lake Ann, MI, Ronald (Kathee) Andrews of Curtice, OH, and Dean (Sandra) Andrews of Bellevue; one sister, Janette (David) Farris of Fremont. Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard (Ann) Andrews and Dale (Sue) Andrews. Also his son Troy Allen Andrews.
Due to the COVID pandemic a funeral service or gathering will not be done at this time. Possible gathering next summer (following control of COVID).
Our family is asking any donations or memorials may be made to Flat Rock Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Firelands Regional Medical Center (Development Department) to fight war on COVID
