Frank Gerard Gabriel, Jr.

May 6, 1959 ~ July 5, 2020 (age 61)

Obituary

Frank Gerard Gabriel, Jr., aged 61 of Old Fort, OH passed away on Sunday, July 05, 2020 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. He was born May 06, 1959 in Tomball, TX to Frank Gerard Gabriel, Sr. and Norma Jean (Pereira) Gabriel, one of ten children. He was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, GA where he and his wife, Denise, raised their children and owned/operated a plumbing company for 25 years.

He is preceded in death by sister Paula J. Donaho, sister Carolyn A. Gabriel, and parents Frank Gerard Gabriel, Sr. and Norma Jean (Pereira) Gabriel.

Frank was a loving husband, supportive father, caring brother, kind uncle, and compassionate friend. He proudly provided for his wife and their children through his self-owned business as a master plumber over the course of his life. He regularly attended continuing-education courses to improve his skillset thereby bolstering his ability to donate his time, money, and assistance to those less fortunate. Throughout his life, Frank was a devout follower of the Catholic faith who often contributed aid to the monastery of his local church and to charitable causes while not attending church services. He enjoyed following NASCAR, attending sporting events, listening to country/rock ’n roll music, and caring for his dogs, but most of all, Frank treasured spending quality time with his wife and their children, ensuring they were completely cared for, and bestowing upon them all of his love.

He is survived by his wife Denise (Swartz) Gabriel of Old Fort, OH whom he married on December 19, 1988, son Kyle Gabriel of Atlanta, GA, son Kory Gabriel of Atlanta, GA, son-in-law Alex Watson of Atlanta, GA, brother Jimmy Gabriel and wife Sharon of Brenham, TX, sister Karen Stevenson and husband Timothy of San Antonio, TX, sister Linda Flores of San Antonio, TX, brother David Gabriel and partner Rachel of Tomball, TX, sister Janet Weimann and husband Michael of Cypress, TX, sister Mary Johnston and husband Robert of San Antonio, TX, sister Susan Cook and husband Albert of Cypress, TX, brother-in-law Dennis Swartz and wife Joann of Bellevue, OH, sister-in-law Deborah Swartz of Old Fort, OH, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends across the country.
