Faye Nay

Faye Nay, 73, of Fremont passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Waterville Health Care Center.  She was born October 28, 1947 in Fremont Ohio the daughter of Eldon and Aldena (Meinke)Mooney.

Faye married Donald Nay on June 30, 1970; He preceded her in death in 2013. 

She was employed by Heinz in Fremont for over 30 years and retired in 2008.  Faye was an avid bingo player, loved cheering on the Buckeyes, and traveling to Las Vegas and also Graceland.  She was an animal lover and adored her three dogs . She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Faye  is survived by a son: Charles (Talya) Nay; daughters, Colleen Baur, Gloria Mooney, Tina Hatcher, and Lori Nay; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers: Richard (Barbara) Mooney and Carl (Kathy) Mooney; sisters: Nancy Mooney, Joanne Wing, and Barbara Mooney. And several nieces and nephews .

In addition to her parents and husband, Faye is preceded in death by a step-son, Dennis Nay; and brothers, Donald and William Mooney; and great-grandson Dylan Mooney.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 4 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.  Under current guidelines set forth by the State of Ohio, social distancing along with wearing a mask are required.
