Evelyn Mae Martin, age 70 of Clyde, passed away on July 1, 2022. She was born on March 16, 1952, in Ashland, Kentucky to Dewey and Betty Dalton Martin.
Evelyn had been employed by the Sandusky County Common Pleas Court as a Victim Advocate. She was a 1970 graduate of Clyde Senior High School, Clyde, OH. She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her passion was sewing and quilting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her three children: Rusty Jesse Jr. (Marcia Nicely) of Clyde, OH, Nicole (James) Kirkpatrick of Lima, OH, Michael (Brandi Ignoffo) Jesse of Lebanon, IN; brother, Dewey L. Martin of Texas; sister, Betty (Jim) Hasselbach of Tiffin, OH; grandchildren: Collin and Dillon Underwood of Lima, OH, and Drake Jesse of Lebanon, IN; and nephews: Josh (Lauren) Hasselbach of Columbus, OH, and Jordan (Lauren) Hasselbach of Clyde, OH.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Dewey and Betty Martin, and her brother, John Martin of Clyde, OH.
A private interment will take place at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde, OH, next to her father, mother, and brother. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Clyde Eagles, 1120 S Main St, Clyde, OH 4341. This celebration will be open to family, friends, classmates, and work associates.
