Emma Stanley

Emma Stanley, 77 of Clyde passed away, June 23,2020 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1943 in Prestonsburg, KY the daughter of the late Oliver P. & Elsie  (Music) Pinion.

Emma was the co-owner of Stanley Excavating located in Clyde, Ohio. She was a free spirit who enjoyed the company of her grandkids. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and music.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Beth) Stanley, JR. of Clyde, and Sherry (Matthew Duskin) Stanley of Clay City, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Preston Lairson (Kayleigh Gehring), Donald Stanley III, Chance Stanley. Great-grand daughter, Ariya Wurzel. Siblings, Ray Pinion, Teddy Joe Pinion, Peggy Pierson, Lilly Mae Singlton, Debbie Stewart, and Brandy Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Stanley, and her sister Sue West.

A public graveside will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, Ohio. The family requests that proper COVID-19 protocol is followed by those planning to attend.
