Eleanor "Bonnie" (Stanley) Clark

Eleanor “Bonnie” Clark, age 84 of Clyde, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at her home. Bonnie was born April 2, 1939, in Fremont, the daughter of the late John and Alverna Stanley (Krawetzski).

Bonnie was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Clyde, which is where she married her late husband, Kenneth Clark, on January 16, 1960. They were married for 63 years until Kenneth’s passing on April 5, 2023. Bonnie was a homemaker who took a lot of pride in the home she kept and loved to decorate. She had a goofy personality and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She also loved animals, especially cats. In her later years, Bonnie truly missed her family and friends that had gone before her, especially her husband and parents. It brings comfort knowing she is now reunited with those she missed so dearly.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters: Brenda Moore of Bellevue and Becky Fitzpatrick of Clyde; grandchildren: Shain Dietz, Destiny Brown, Codey Blankenship, Brittany Fitzpatrick, and Cheyenne Stokes; and great-grandchildren: Matthew, Karma, Fayte, Samantha, Jaxson, Kharisma, Daisy, and Zakai.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie is preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Stanley, Richard Stanley, Virginia Litteral, and Gene Lee Stanley.

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 1:00pm until a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
