Edward "Gino" Blasetzky

Edward E. “Gino” Blasetzky, Jr, age 69 of Clyde, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Gino was born February 7, 1956, in Port Clinton, OH, the son of the late Edward Sr, and Jacqueline (Benner) Blasetzky.

Gino enjoyed spending time with family, camping, swimming, playing lawn darts, and wood working. He enjoyed being outside in the summer. A.M.L A.M.L

Gino is survived by his wife, Carol (Hummel) Blasetzky of Clyde, whom he married July 6, 1996; children: Damian Blasetzky of Monroeville, Joshua (Miranda) Blasetzky of Luckey, Miranda Blasetzky of Norwalk, Dustin (Cara) Phillips of Fremont, Willie (Sami) Phillips of Clyde, and Carrie (Rick) Crosser of Fremont; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild with another on the way; and sisters: Melanie (Ronald) Mischler of Fremont, and Luann (Timothy) Cutcher of Oak Harbor.

In addition to his parents, Gino is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Phillips; brother, Michael Blasetzky; and sister, Karen Wagner.

Friends will be received on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 1-3pm & 5pm until a funeral service beginning at 7pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
