Edward G. Beiler, 88, went home to be with his Lord on March 31, 2022 in his home in Bellevue, Ohio. Ed was born January 18, 1934 in Bellevue the son of Paul H. and Laura (Sherman) Beiler.
He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. Edward married Barbara L. Brooks from Norwalk on February 3, 1957 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. They had just celebrated 65 years of marriage. Edward and Barbara and shortly after, their children trusted the Lord for salvation. He was a dairy farmer his whole life and especially loved his Guernsey cows.
Eddie was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He also served for many years as a 4-H Advisor.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Beiler; children, Wenda (Beiler) Williams (Donald) of Warsaw, IN, Dawn R. (Greg) Russell of Bellevue, OH and Paul E. (Tina) Beiler of Fredericksburg, PA; grandchildren: Joshua Arp, Autumn Miller, Caleb Arp, Matthew Arp, Harmony Miller, Stephen Arp, Stephanie Wesco, Faith Arscott, Grace Head, Stephen Williams, Hope Williams, Joy Williams, Mercy Miller, Mary Williams, John Williams, Daniel Williams, Amanda Yingling, Garrett Russell, Nathan Beiler, Samuel Beiler, Jonathan Beiler, Rachael Beiler; 27 beloved great grandchildren; sister, Betty Stull; and son-in-law, David Arp.
Eddie is preceded in death by his mother and father, Laura (Sherman) Beiler and Paul H. Beiler, his daughter, Debra L. (Beiler) Arp; grandson-in-law, Charles Wesco; and brother-in-law, James Stull.
A celebration of Eddie’s life and Testimony for the Lord will begin on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Bellevue Cemetery. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
