Doyle E. Wise Jr., 64, of Clyde, passed away after a lengthy illness at home with his loving family.
He was born October 17, 1959, in Bellevue, the son of Doyle Eugene and JoAnne (Roberts) Wise Sr. He was a classmate of the Class of 1978 at Clyde High School and Vanguard Vocational. Doyle worked 32 years as a Line 8 Operator at A. Schulman in Bellevue, until his desire to move South in 2009. He then became a safety director for XPO Logistics in Orangeburg, South Carolina, in which his job took him to Illinois, Texas, Mexico and Florida.
Doyle first and foremost loved his family and enjoyed every minute spent with them. He so appreciated his Doyle’s Crew. Doyle adored his grandchildren and great granddaughter as they also did him. He enjoyed being with his friends, loved and missed his companion Mojo, sweet chihuahua.
Over the years, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and being out on the lake on his pontoon. He loved the water, beaches, palm trees and any place warm and sunny. Doyle was an avid world traveler and spent many vacations anywhere in the Caribbean.
He was a huge fan of sports, Buckeyes, Browns, and Indians. He was a member of the Clyde Eagles. Doyle also found his faith in our dear Lord and Savior in 2022.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Sharon (Burr) Wise, whom he married on October 2, 1998 in Clyde, OH; mother, Joanne (Roberts) Wise; children, Brandy (Kris) Krieder, Katie Dukles, Mindy (Casey) Young, and Nettisha (William) Seitz; grandchildren, Christian S., Adreanna , Trenity , Logan, Christian A., Gracie, Charles, Addelyn, and Madison; great-grandchild, Hazel Jane; siblings, Deann (Joh) Nobles, Brenda (Rick) Funk, Kim (Terry) Miracle, and Mike (Lori) Wise.
Doyle is preceded in death by his father, Doyle E. Wise Sr., and granddaughter, Cassandra Young.
Private family services will be held at McPherson Cemetery.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00-6:00pm at the Clyde Eagles, 1120 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410.
The family suggest that any memorial contributions to be made out in Doyle’s name to the family.
