Donna Scriver

Donna M. Scriver, age 72 of Clyde, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. Donna was born April 15, 1949 in Sandusky, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Mary E. (Hill) Long.

Donna married Dennis Roy Scriver on July 1, 1967 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sandusky. Dennis preceded her in death on April 20, 2015. Donna was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, ceramics, crocheting, and fishing with her husband. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her children: Charles (Kelley) Scriver of Clyde, and Julie Scriver of Providence, KY; daughters-in-law: Nika Baker of Sandusky and Sharon Scriver of Arizona; grandchildren: David (Ashlie) Scriver, Katie (Andrew) Collins, Elizabeth Lately, Donald M. Scriver, Makala Scriver, Autumn Scriver, Alicia (Kory) Drown, Shelby Harvey, and Mirranda Harvey; 10 great-grandchildren whom were her pride and joy; and siblings: Gary (Cathy) Long of Vickery, Michael (Marilyn) Long of Castalia, and Kathy Long of Clyde.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna is preceded in death by her sons: Dennis A. “Little Denny” Scriver and Roy L. Scriver; and brothers: Floyd Long and Donald Long.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11am until a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Parkhurst Cemetery.
