Donald Townsend

Donald Townsend, 68, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at The Bellevue Hospital.  He was born January 21, 1956 in Bellevue the son of Thurman and Dorothy (Barnett) Townsend.

Donald can best be described as a jack of all trades.  He drove truck for a living, but also was a carpenter and enjoyed working on cars.  He loved the outdoors, camping, and perch fishing on the lake.  He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed playing poker.

He is survived by his sons: Tyler Townsend, Thrane Townsend, and David Townsend; daughter, Leslie Townsend; 1 granddaughter, Isabella Townsend; and sister, Donna Clark.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn (Lewis) Townsend, whom he married March 17, 1978 in Castalia; a brother, Chris Townsend; and sister, Rochelle Russell.

Private services will be observed.  Foos and Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.
