Donald Scherley

Donald Scherley, 67, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Mansfield Hospital.  He was born January 4, 1956 in Bellevue the son of Urban Sr. and Velma (Potts) Scherley.

Don worked at the former Armstrong Air in Bellevue for over thirty years.  He enjoyed being outside, especially hunting and farming.

He is survived by his daughter, Jill (Jason) Burkholder of Republic; son, Scott Scherley of Bellevue; two grandchildren: Sophie and Jaxon Burkholder; brother, Urban (Patricia) Scherley Jr. of Bellevue; sisters, Barb Miller of Bellevue and Geraldine (Louie) Niedermier of New Washington.

In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Miller; and an infant son.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 4 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
