Donald Pesnell, Sr.

Donald Pesnell, Sr, age 73 of Flat Rock, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home. Donald was born February 11, 1950, in Bellevue, the son of the late Howard and Christine (Cox) Pesnell.

Donald enjoyed working on cars, and loved taking rides on his motorcycle. Donald and his wife, would often take short 2-day road trips to various places for little getaways. Donald also loved the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing.

Donald is survived by his wife, Vilma (Blankenship) Pesnell of Flat Rock, whom he married July 3, 1971, in Clintwood, VA; children: Lisa Reed of Flat Rock, Donald Pesnell, Jr, of Flat Rock, and Kelly (Nathan Prine) Pesnell of Bellevue; grandchildren: Ashlie (David) Scriver, and Austynn (Paul Buchanan) Reed; great-grandchildren: Deavon, Mitchel, Aurora, Maisie, Jamie, and Jordan; and siblings: James, Wayne, Greg, Phyllis, Vicki, and Sandy.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brothers: Richard and Howard, Jr.
