Donald Gerber

Donald Gerber, 82, of Monroeville passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at the Bellevue Care Center.  He was born July 23, 1937 in Norwalk the son of the late Cletus & Monica (Leis) Gerber, Sr.

Don was a farmer and a member of Laborers Union #480, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Monroeville, and a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his brother, Raymond E. Gerber of Monroeville and nieces and nephews..

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Gerber, Myron Gerber, Cletus Gerber Jr., Richard Gerber, sisters, Thelma Gerber, Patricia Usselman and Doris Gerber.

Friends will be received Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 from 4 – 7 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Monroeville.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Stein Hospice.
