Donald L. Brown

Donald L. Brown, age 77 of Clyde, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his home. Donald was born November 2, 1948, the son of the late Lloyd and Alice Brown.

Donald worked for many years at Whirlpool in Clyde, where he was known for his strong work ethic. Outside of work, he had a lifelong passion for racing, especially late model races at Fremont Speedway. Donald also enjoyed collecting Ford Mustangs, a true reflection of his love for cars and classic American craftsmanship. At home, he found comfort and companionship in his beloved cats, who were always by his side.

Donald is survived by his daughters: Sharlene (Paul) Rex and Donna (Brian) Lloyd, both of Clyde; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: David, Floyd, and Randy Brown; and sisters: Mary Brown and Carol Merritt.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene “Micki” (Moses) Brown, whom he married October 6, 2004; and brothers: Paul, Ron, and Andrew Brown.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4-7:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
