Derrick J. Englehart

Derrick J. Englehart, age 31 of Bellevue, OH, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. Derrick was born November 26, 1994, in Bellevue, the son of Dustin Englehart and Carrie (Rex) Englehart.

Derrick lived a life marked by curiosity, faith, and a spirit of adventure. He found great joy in exploring the United States, always eager to see new places and experience all that life had to offer. His service in the National Guard reflected his dedication to his country and his strong sense of duty. Above all, Derrick had a deep love for sharing his faith, and he cherished every opportunity to preach the Gospel and encourage others. His passion for life, service, and ministry will be remembered by all who knew him.

Derrick was a true adventurer who explored life with passion and courage. His spirit inspires us to embrace every moment, face challenges head-on, and cherish the memories we create along the way.

In addition to his parents, Derrick is survived by his siblings: Cheyanne (Demontre Johnson) Dean and Dalton (Abbigail) Yates; and nieces: Lillianna and Layla Yates. 

Derrick is preceded in death by his grandmother, Yvonne Wiswell; great-grandmother, Joyce Zieter; and uncle Daniel Wiswell.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 2:00pm until a funeral service beginning at 4:00pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811.
