Delores Heil, 87, of Tiffin passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born July 29, 1933 in Willard, Ohio the daughter of Eugene and Anna (Guertz) Phillips.
Delores owned and operated the former 4 & 20 Restaurant, as well as worked at New Departure, and did wallpapering as well. She enjoyed making trips to the casino.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Heil, whom she married on October 10, 1992 in Tiffin, Ohio; son, Gene (Laurie) Michel of Cape Coral, Florida; daughters, Judi Hartman of Crossville, TN and Sandra Michel of Green Springs; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elaine Harrington of Sandusky, Dian Phillips of Willard, Peg Phillips of Willard, and Pat Wobser of Sandusky; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets, Rusty and Lucky.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Eugene Michel, stepson, Keith Heil; and brothers, Gerald Phillips and Melvin Phillips.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 9 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Private burial services will be held at St. Sebastian’s Cemetery. Under current mandates set forth, masks will be required.
