Deann “Spark” Fultz, age 62 of Clyde, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at The Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, OH. Deann was born April 8, 1962, in Bellevue, the daughter of the late Willie K. and Shirley (Tressler) Fultz.
Deann worked at Firelands Federal Credit Union for 42 years. She started as a drive thru teller and through her hard work and dedication earned her way up to being the Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Her impact and contribution to the credit union cannot be overstated.
Deann was a devoted Chicago Bears and Clyde Fliers fan. She especially enjoyed the Clyde Fliers Volleyball and Wrestling programs. She helped out as a statistician for each, and helped organize the wrestling tournament. She was also involved with the development of the Clyde Girls Wrestling Program.
Deann is survived by her brothers: Dan (Holly) Fultz of Bellevue, Dave Fultz of Constantine, MI, and Dean (Lucy) Fultz of Clyde; nieces and nephews: Ian, Barry, Heather, Christopher, Zachary, Willie, Jamie, and Sahen; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Deann is preceded in death by her nephew, Lucas James Fultz.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 10:00am until a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde. The family requests that all in attendance of Deann's services please wear fan inspired attire: Bears, Ohio State, Volleyball & Wrestling.
Memorial donations may be made in Deann’s honor to the Flier Boosters Inc. or to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
