David Sprowl age 82 of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1938, in Avery, OH the son of the late Rolin E. & Rose (Vloria) Sprowl.
Dave retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2002 where he was a section line foreman. He served in the U.S. Army where he was a combat engineer.
He loved anything to do with trains.
Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly (Marc) Spindler, Jacqueline (Charles) Vandenbrock, sons, Terry Meagrow, Steve Meagrow, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Shirley E. Meyer and Beverly J. Boren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Norma (Dailey) Sprowl whom he married September 26, 1964, daughter, Tina Alejandro, sons, David Sprowl, Jr., Brian Meagrow, brothers, Robert Rolin Sprowl, Eddie “Rolin” Sprowl, and his sister, Delores Barber.
Friends will be received Monday, July 19, 2021, from 9 am until a funeral service begins at 11 am at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Entombment will follow at Meadowgreen Mausoleum, Huron
