David E. Long

David Erlin Long, age 46, of Fremont, OH, passed away on April 6, 2025 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. David was born on March 1, 1979, the son of David and Cheryl (Tuttamore) Long. 

David was a kind-hearted and good-natured soul, known for his gentle spirit and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He had a deep love for working on cars, especially his cherished 1973 Nova, and his passion shone through in every project he touched. A talented craftsman, David approached his work with patience and care, always taking the time to do things right. He greeted the world with a warm smile and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his siblings Daniel Long of Fremont, Alisa (Corey) Logan of Clyde and Vanessa Myers of Tiffin; two nieces; three nephews; one great-niece; and one great-nephew. 

David is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Erlin Long; and maternal grandmother, Lorraine Tuttamore.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 11:00am until a funeral service begins at 2:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow the funeral service at York Chapel Cemetery. ‘
