David Green

David Green, 34, of Steilacoom, WA and formerly of Bellevue passed away Monday, September 7, 2020.  He was born October 19, 1985 in Sandusky, Ohio the son of Keith Green and Tena (Raney) Green. 

David was a 2004 graduate of Bellevue High School.  Following graduation, he entered the police academy and was employed by the Cleveland Heights Police Department.  David then moved to Atlanta and worked in business before entering the United States Army where he served as a combat medic.  Following his discharge in Washington, he worked as a safety trainer.  He enjoyed weightlifting, hiking, biking and shooting.  Most of all he loved spending time with his son, Jaxson.

In addition to his parents and son, David is survived by two brothers, Brian (Jenna) Green of Castalia, Aaron Green of Houston, TX; sister, Megan (Trent Woodard) Green of Bowling Green; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Jensen; maternal grandfather, Dennis Raney, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vernon “Stubby” and Marilyn Green, and maternal grandfather, Carl Jensen.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 10 a.m. until a service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Due to current mandates set forth by the State of Ohio masks will be required and social distancing must be observed.  Burial will follow at Lyme Grange Cemetery.
