David Gooding, age 63 of Clyde,OH, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the Fireland Regional Medical Center. David was born on May 17, 1962, in Sandusky, OH, the son of Lawrence Gooding and Mildred Molnar (Price).
David was someone who lived life in a genuine, easygoing way. He served in the National Guard and later spent many years working at Whirlpool, where he made friends he kept close for life. David loved getting out on the golf course with his pals and could always be counted on to suggest a new restaurant to try, he was a true foodie who enjoyed exploring anything he hadn’t tasted before.
He liked to travel when he could, but what mattered most to him was time spent with his mom. No matter what else was going on, being with her was his favorite place to be.
David will be remembered for his loyalty, his sense of humor, and the simple joys he shared with the people he cared about.
