David C Bartl, Sr.

David C. Bartl, Sr., age 54 of Clyde, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born November 6, 1963 in Fremont the son of the late Joseph J. Bartl, Sr. and Clara Belle (Queen) Bartl.

David was a member of Journey Church and worked for 30 years at Myers Construction in Green Springs.

David is survived by his wife, Sherry (Coleman) Bartl whom he married May 31, 1997 in Green Springs; children: Derrick (Tonya) Hill of Green Springs, Gerald (Chelsey) Hill of Clyde, Megan (Isaiah) Cassady of Columbus, Brandi (Dre) Bartl of Fremont, David Bartl Jr. of Clyde, and Coltin Bartl of Clyde; Brothers: Allen R. Bartl of Bellevue, Joseph J. (Rita) Bartl, Jr. of Green Springs, and Lloyd Bartl of Clyde; sister: Geraldine R. (Alfred) Bartl of Clyde; grandchildren: Daniel, Lanei, Deltin, Klover, Faythe, Paulina, Rayden, Octavia, Josiah, Kayella, and two baby boys on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dogs Suzie and Chomper.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Bartl, and great nephew, Conner Bartl.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 10am-12pm & 4-6pm when a funeral service will begin at 6pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH.
