Darlene Souslin, 64, of Wakeman passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at The Cleveland Clinic. She was born November 29, 1957 in Norwalk, the daughter of Rolland and Shirly (Goodsite) Geiss.
Darlene (better known as Cookie to all who knew her) was an avid pool league member at Charlie’s Bar for many years. She was also a member of the Eagles of Wakeman. She was a caretaker of her family and a home maker for many years. She loved her family above all else.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Souslin; sons, Michael and Zachary Souslin; daughter, Kristen (Jason Phillips) Ferrell; grandchildren: Raeven Phillips, Joey Mae Phillips, and Haley Jean Phillips; mother, Shirley Geiss; brother, Cory (M
argaret) Geiss; sisters: Sherry (Jerry) Beck, Debra (Richard Rhodes) McCowan, Cindy (Harry) Behning, and Tracey (Steve) Myers.
She is preceded in death by her father, Rolland Geiss; brothers-in-law: Bobby McCowan, Rich Souslin, Tom Souslin, and Terry Souslin; niece, Lilith Murray; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 1 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
