Dale L. Zieber

Dale LeRoy Zieber, 84 years old of Green Springs, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

He was born October 10, 1937, in Bellevue to William and Opal Zieber. He married Connie L. Barrick, on October 12, 1957 of Republic. Dale graduated from York High School Bellevue (class of 1955). Dale received an associate degree in Electronics at DeVry Tech School in Chicago in 1962.  In 1963, he started working for Burroughs Corporation, which later became Unisys. He retired from Unisys after 38 years.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Zieber, 64 years of marriage, his 2 daughters Paula Kay Hyman (Michael) in Atlanta, GA, Phyllis Jean Skeel (Gary) of Ocala, FL, his 3 sons Richard Dale (Lucy) of Findlay, Rodney Lee (Gail) of Clyde, and Aaron Joseph (Christina) in Fremont, brother LaMar Zieber (Phyllis) of Norwalk, sister Marlene Mihalus of Spring Hill, FL, as well as his 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepmother Dorothy Zieber and William Zieber.

Dale was confined at Sandusky Stein Hospice the last 4 ½ months of his life.

A memorial service will begin on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Fremont Baptist Temple, 1150 S. County Road 198, Fremont, Ohio 43420.  A luncheon will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fremont Baptist Temple located at 1850 County Road 198, Fremont, Ohio.
