Dale Dominic Cruz

Dale D. Cruz, age 46 of Maumee, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania. Dale was born June 6, 1975, in Sandusky the son of Cheryl (Johnson) Kidd and the late Robert Cruz, Sr.

Dale had a huge heart and lived life to the fullest. He was always willing and eager to put his knowledgeable carpentry skills to use helping others. He had a way of lighting up a room with his one liners and witty jokes. Dale loved being outdoors camping, fishing, and sitting by the fire with family and friends listening to music, of course singing along. Dale was able to give the gift of life, after his passing, through organ donation.

In addition to his mother, Dale is survived by his son, Dominic Cruz of Tiffin; brother, Robert “Hobo” Cruz, Jr; stepfather, Frank Kidd of Bristol, TN; special friend, Kelly Barrett; nieces and nephew: Hannah, Hayley, and Hayden; fur baby, Warren; and many other family members.

Dale is preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 1:00-4:00pm at Vickery Fire House, 5076 C.R. 247 Vickery OH 43464.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expense.
