Colleen Baur Obituary

Colleen Baur, 70, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.  She was born February 7, 1950 in Bellevue the daughter of Donald and Doris (Champlin) Nay.

Colleen was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue where she volunteered at Immaculate Conception School in the cafeteria for many years.  In addition to helping in the cafeteria, Colleen coached track and field, and officiated volleyball games for many years.  She enjoyed camping and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Colleen married Michael Baur on November 11, 1972 in Bellevue; He preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived by her two sons: Kyle (Melissa) Baur of Green Springs, Todd (Molly Hicks) Baur of Bellevue; 3 grandchildren: Thomas Baur, Hayden Clark, and McKenzie Baur; Brothers: Charles (Talya) Nay, Gloria (Don) Mooney, Tina Hatcher, and Lori Nay.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepmother Faye Nay, and brother, Dennis Nay.

A memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials in Coleen’s honor may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue.
