Christopher John Wagner, 45, was born to John and Sandra (Braem) Wagner on January 29, 1976 joined his heavenly family on February 16, 2021.
Christopher is survived by his parents, his siblings: Jennifer (Wagner) Torres, Juan (Annie)Vincente, Jessica Wagner, Pamela Wagner, Tiffany Wagner, Timothy (Autumn) Wagner, and Jonathan Wagner along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, John and Olga (Leiter) Wagner, Raymond and Della (McIntosh) Braem as well as his uncles, Nestor Leiter and Bruce D’Aquisto; and niece, Alexis Dabney.
Christopher was a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a tri-linguist being fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. He was an avid runner, competing in numerous marathons including 50- and 100-mile marathons in Loudonville, Ohio. Christopher was also an accomplished martial artist. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard, Deputy Sheriff in El Paso County, Colorado, and a Captain in the Army Reserves working in Military Intelligence. In his service, Christopher received numerous awards, medals, and commendations for service, exemplary conduct, and accomplishments. Christopher served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Honduras/Belize. He is a firm believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the power that it holds, and the love that it brings. We know that he will continue to do great and marvelous things in Heaven.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Prairie Road, Bellevue.
Memorials in Christopher’s honor may be made to the Donor’s favorite charity.
