Christopher Hoyt

Christopher Hoyt, 66, of Bellevue, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Bellevue Care Center. He was born in Bellevue, Ohio, on August 24, 1958, to Wyman Hoyt and Lorraine (Hall) Cooper.

Chris was an avid outdoorsman, working for many years as a landscaper. In his youth, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and attending sprint car races. Family was paramount to him, and he cherished his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Joseph (Kristi) Hoyt of Oberlin; his daughter, Tara (James) Oblinger of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren: Damon, Makayla, Brayden, Emaleigh, Georgia, Nathaniel, and Liam; and his sisters: Elizabeth Hoyt and Carrie Thomas.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Nichole Hoyt; and his sister, Connie Laub.

Friends may call on Friday, August 8, from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
