Christine Strecker-Mayer

Christine Strecker-Mayer, 58, of Flat Rock passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at her home.  She was born December 10, 1967 in Bellevue the daughter of Leslie and Cheryl (Druckenmiller) Strecker.

Chrissy dedicated herself to her family, above all else, cherishing her role as a mother. She took immense pride in caring for her beloved children and was Grand Mom to her grandchildren. Professionally, she worked as a home health aide and spent time at Whirlpool Corp and Tower Automotive. In her free time, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed various hobbies, including fishing, gardening, canning, and crafting beautiful wreaths.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Mayer of Flat Rock; three Children: Adam Mayer, Alicia Mayer, and Emily (David) Johnson; 3 grandchildren: Nicole, Isaiah, and Isaac; and great grandson, Milo; her mother, Cheryl Strecker; brother, Eric (Kelly) Strecker; sisters: Cindy (Scott) Huffman, Jessica Strecker, and Ashley Strecker; and numerous nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Strecker.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 23, from 3 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 6 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
