Charles Owens

Charles Owens, 86, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 20, 1938 in Peoria, IL the son of Paul and Mildred (Adams) Owens.

Charles worked for Norfolk & Southern Railroad in Bellevue for over 40 years.  He loved his family and devoted himself to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  He enjoyed camping with his family and spending time around the house “tinkering”.  He was an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity assisting in many builds around the United States.

He is survived by his sons: Daniel Owens, Paul Owens, Shaun (Lori) Owens, and Kevin Geisel; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and great-great granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia Ann (Dennis), whom he married November 16, 1957 in Norwalk.

At his request, there will be no services.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.
