Charles Nash, age 97, of Bellevue passed away on December 8, 2023 at the Bellevue Care Center. Charles was born on April 7, 1926 in Delta, OH the son of the late Charles and Louise (Klorer) Nash.
Charles was a member of the American Bowling Congress “300” Club. In his spare time, he was an avid bowler, golfer, and hunter. Charles was the neighborhood mechanic and transmission specialist. He loved antiquing for old radios and so enjoyed his country music. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the United States Navy on the U.S.S Hersey in the Philippines as a U.S. Navy Seabee.
Charles is survived by his children, Diane (Frank) Blackburn, Darlene (John) Rich, Sandra Isle, Charles Nash, JR, and Michael Nash; sister, Irene Vanscoder of Bowling Green, OH; grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Jennifer, Ed, Mariel, Lee, Sonya, and Blake; great grandchildren, Addison, Eddison, Drake, Mia, Evelyn, Maddox, Ayden, Logan, Renee, Evan, Kylie, Caiden, Grayson, Rosemarie, Aiden and Kieran; and many, many Nash and Eckel nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Vislay as they remained friends; siblings, Bruce, Steve, Don, Dick, Ivan, Leon, Viola, Pearl, Patricia, and Margaret; daughters in law, Gwyn Nash and Ann Nash; son in law, Ray Isle; and granddaughter in law, Stefanie Rich.

A funeral mass will be held on April 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Inurnment will occur immediately following the funeral mass at St. Rose Cemetery.
