Charles H. Meyer

Charles H. Meyer, age 78 of Clyde, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at his home. Charles was born July 7, 1942 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late Wilbur and Verna (Gross) Meyer.

Charles was a member of Clyde St. Mary Catholic Church, and twice served as the Grand Knight in the Clyde Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sharon (Vollmar) Meyer of Clyde, whom he married July 19, 1969 at St. Gaspar Church in Marywood; daughter, Kindra Anne (Jessie) Vargas of Clyde; grandchildren: Michala, Frank, Jessie Jr., and Myia; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Raiden, Kynlee, Liam, and Tallon; brothers: Kurt Meyer of Fremont and Keith Meyer of Oregon; and a sister, Bonita Garcia of Fremont.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his sister, Beth Meyer.

Friends will be received Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 3-7pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A Funeral Mass will be held privately. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Clyde.
