Charles B. "Chuck" Maines

Charles B. “Chuck” Maines, age 67 of Clyde, OH, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. Chuck was born January 5, 1958, in Bellevue, OH, the son of the late Charles L. and Lois (Stuart) Maines.

Chuck was a loving, hard working husband and family man. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, and spending time cooking with family and friends. Chuck loved making everyone laugh and watching Sci-fi. He always fed everyone who came to the house and always offered you a shot! Salute!

Chuck is survived by his children: Charles E. Maines of Clyde, Jacki (Jake Cole) Maines of Fremont, Megan Maines of Clyde, and Stephanie (Daniel) McConnell of Sapulpa, OK; grandchildren: Aizley and Zailynn Maines, Cayden Noftz, and Noah, Levi, Grant, and Joshua McConnell; and sisters: Terri (Robert) Norman of Bellevue, Cheryl (Ty Freeze) Maines of Tiffin, and Marla (Rod) Keegan of Clyde.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia (Dorobek) Maines; grandson, Jacob Kluding; and siblings: Edward and Shelly Maines.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 4-7:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
