Charles Boles, 87, of Bellevue passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home.

Born on October 1, 1938, in Athens, Alabama, Charles was the son of Cellus and Ozie Mae (Rose) Boles.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1957. He dedicated many years of service to the New Departure Plant in Sandusky, retiring in 1999. His time at the plant led to lasting friendships, which he cherished through weekly breakfast meetups. In his leisure time, he was an avid golfer and bowler and was a member of Eagles Aerie 490.

He is survived by his three daughters: Anita “Tina” Leber, Cheryll (Dale) Hoffman, and Kimberly (Brian) Edmonds; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Larry (Lael) Boles.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Consetta “Connie” (Miano) Boles, whom he married on June 18, 1976, and who passed away in June 2025. He was also preceded in death by his son, John Boles; his brother, Reggie Boles; and his granddaughter, Shannon.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11 a.m. until a funeral service with military honors begins at 1 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
