Cecil F. Woodall, age 85 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Heritage Village of Clyde. Cecil was born September 29, 1933 in Elmwood, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles E. and Shirley Mae (Cochran) Woodall.
Cecil worked at Whirlpool for 47 years and was a member of the Sandusky Angler's Club.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Alice (VanMeter) Woodall, whom he married March 12, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde; two sons: Robert (Linda) Woodall of Oak Harbor and Brian (Kristy) Woodall of Tiffin; four daughters: Margaret (Ken) Kerlin of Friendswood, TX, Shirley (Daryl) Allgyer of Sycamore, OH, Deborah (Chris) Wagner of Fremont, and Loretta Johnson of Mount Sterling, KY; 16 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Cecil is preceded in death by his siblings: Roy, Charles, Cora, Lola, Betty, Mildred, Clarence James, William, and Madeline; son-in-law, James Johnson; brother-in-law, Daniel VanMeter; and sister-in-law, Barbra Korecki.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
