Carol Windsor, 90, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born in Bellevue on July 20, 1935, the daughter of John A. and Helen (Krupp) Underdown.
On August 4, 1956, Carol married James Windsor at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. He preceded her in death in 2018.
Carol earned her Bachelor's degree in teaching from the University of Miami and Bowling Green State University. She dedicated 30 years to teaching for Bellevue Schools, a job she absolutely loved, until her retirement. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing cards, dancing, and listening to live music. For 35 winters, she and her husband Jim resided in Cape Coral, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and member of Immaculate Conception Church, Port Clinton.
Carol is survived by her two daughters, Leanne (Patrick) Wilson of Boerne, Texas, and Jacquie (Michael) Raifsnider of Bellevue; her son, James Daniel (Melisa) Windsor of Cape Coral; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Underdown.
Private interment will take place in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is assisting with arrangements.
