Carol Pifher, 87, of Waterville, and formerly of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Mercy Perrysburg Hospital. She was born May 15, 1937 in Cleveland and was the daughter of Walter J. and Josephine (Hoehn) Miller.
Carol was a loving mother and homemaker for most of her life. She worked at First National Bank in Bellevue as a teller for over 20 years as well as for GTE in Bellevue. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue and St. John XXIII in Perrysburg.
A loving grandmother, Carol devoted her later years to her grandchildren, enjoyed reading, and sharing a good glass of wine with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, N. Joseph Pifher, whom she married Oct. 19, 1963; four children; Kevin (Tracy) Pifher of Cincinnati, Kent (Robin) Pifher of Cleveland, Kyle Pifher of Columbus, Kendra Doriot of Waterville; grandchildren: Kortney, Taylor, Teegan, Carter, Quinlan, and Adilyn; brother, Robert (Gloria) Miller of Bellevue; sister, Mary (Rick) Murray of Bellevue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers: Roger Miller, Craig Miller and Billy Miller and daughter-in-law, Karla Pifher.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will begin at Noon on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sorrowful Mother Shrine.
