Carol M. (Wooten) Lantz

Carol M. Lantz, age 80 of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital. Carol was born January 19, 1942, in Bucyrus, OH, the daughter of the late Charles and Ollie (Adkins) Wooten.

Carol worked at Whirlpool as a Machine Operator for many years until her retirement in 2004. She was full of life and a mother figure to many. She loved tending to her garden and flowers. She had a soft spot for all animals, but especially loved her dog, Cooper.

Carol is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lantz, whom she married December 30, 1961, in Bellevue; son, Michael (Tonya) Lantz of Bellevue; twin sister, Karen (Jim) Frasure of Findlay; brother, Jack Wooten of Bellevue; nieces and nephews: Ken (Linda) Wooten, Chuck (Jill) Wooten, Jackie Wooten, Michelle (Martin) Frasure, Lindy (Kevin) Clouse, Laurie Reynolds, Patty (Chip) Sylvester, Jeanie (Gerry) Verhoff, and Tami Cummings; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her siblings: William Wooten, Helen Artino, Darlene Tea, and Betty Cummings; and nieces and nephews: Jeff Frasure, Billy Artino, Eddy Palmer. Diane Ramon, and Raelene Colvin.

Services for Carol will be held privately.
