Carol Calkins

Carol Faye Calkins passed into eternity on September 16, 2023. She was born to Vernon and Gladys Spice in Wadsworth, Ohio on September 7th, 1938, and was a graduate of Wadsworth High School.

Carol relocated to Bellevue OH. in 1971 and was employed by Tenneco Corp. in Milan OH for 38 years before retiring.

Carol was preceded in death by her Mom & Dad, her husband, Richard Calkins, her sister Lynn Gray. Brothers, Loren and Neil Spice as well as her oldest son, Kenneth A. Smith and 1 granddaughter, Candice Smith.

She was survived by her youngest son, Jeffery (Andrea) Smith of Bellevue, OH.  Grandsons, Jacob smith, Sandusky, OH. Benjamin (Megan) Smith, Lyndhurst, OH, Kenneth Swaney, Houston, TX., & Brian Woodward, Norwalk, OH; Granddaughters Caren Nemitz, Sandusky, OH and Faye (David) Izatt, Chesterfield, VA; 7 great grandsons, Isaac, Ian, Trey, Nathan, Preston, Caleb & Ian;  3 great granddaughters, Breanna, Caitlyn & Casey.

Carol also left behind many nephews, nieces and lifelong friends who will forever cherish her memory.  Until we meet again.
