Brenda Perry Obituary

Brenda Carol Perry, 78, of Green Springs, Ohio, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Monday, June 1, 2026. Born on November 3, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Henry and Artie Perkins.

Brenda was the oldest of twelve siblings and cherished the special bond she shared with each of them throughout her life. Family was always at the center of her heart, and she took great pride in staying connected to those she loved.

On June 25, 1966, Brenda married the love of her life and best friend, Calvin Perry. Together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with faith, laughter, and devotion. They raised their family in the close-knit community of Green Springs, Ohio, where Brenda’s kindness and warm spirit touched countless lives.

Brenda was a loving mother to Alan (Gina) Perry of Green Springs, Ohio; Lisa (David) Weider of Bellevue, Ohio; and Tammy (Tim) Vanover of Old Fort, Ohio. She found her greatest joy in her family and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren: Cody, Brittany, Dylan, Dalton, Shane, Hunter, Trenton, Shalee, Trey, and Trinity; and her 15 great-grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Calvin Perry; her children and grandchildren; and her beloved siblings: Dennie (Cindy) Perkins of Clyde, Ohio; Janice (Steve) Taylor of Sawyer, Kentucky; Joe (Carrie) Perkins of Vickery, Ohio; Jeff (Kathy) Perkins of Bellevue, Ohio; Nancy (Stanley) Green of Wood, Kentucky; John (Teresa) Perkins of Owingsville, Kentucky; Cheryl (Joe) Gill of Clyde, Ohio; and William Perkins of Barbourville, Kentucky, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Artie Perkins; her sister, Vonda Mathis; and her brothers, Benny Perkins and Jim Perkins.

A woman of deep faith, Brenda loved serving the Lord and faithfully attending church. She had a gift for crafting and decorating, always finding creative ways to make every season and gathering feel special. Her beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and caring heart brought comfort and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though her family mourns her loss, they find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with loved ones who went before her and is resting peacefully in her heavenly home. Her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
