Bob Daley

Robert Daley, 68, of Clyde passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home.  He was born April 18, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio the son of James P. and Fannie F. (Kiser) Daley.

Bob worked as a bus technician for Bellevue Schools for 25 years, retiring in 2012. He loved his job and took great pride in ensuring every bus passed inspection on the first try.  While being talented mechanically, Bob also excelled in carpentry and construction and handled any at home project he could.  Bob's talents were displayed  to many as he was always ready to lend a hand to someone who needed help. He loved the outdoors, especially animals and enjoyed taking care of his “grand goats” every morning.  Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Amy (Cameron), whom he married June 18, 1977 in Shaker Heights, Ohio; son, Shaun (Michelle) Daley of Fremont; daughter, Rachel (Jason Ruffing) Daley; 6 grandchildren: Ashley, Sara, Bridget, Logan, Gage, Brody; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Steve (Kathy) Daley of Fremont; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; and 11 grand furbabies of all kinds.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.  

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be made in Bob’s memory to: The American Heart Association or the donor’s favorite charity.
