Beverly Oddo

Beverly Ann (Perry) Oddo, age 85 and a longtime Bellevue resident, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her 7 children. Beverly was born July 24, 1935 in Marion, OH the daughter of the late Curtis and Mabel (Halverson) Perry.

Beverly graduated from Sandusky High School in 1953. She married her late husband, William Oddo on November 9, 1957. They welcomed 7 children from 1958 through 1972. Together they raised these wonderful children until Bill’s passing on August 25, 2020. Beverly was a devoted wife and mother. She was the glue that held her large family together. Throughout her life she was an avid baker, cook, and cake decorator. She owned and operated a cake decorating business before being employed by Fanny Farmer Candies in Norwalk and Foodtown in Bellevue. Friends and family were always greeted with a plate of pasta and meatballs or sheet of pizza or a warm loaf of homemade bread. Some of the many ways Beverly expressed her love and appreciation for those that touched her amazing life.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, William Oddo, and sister, Patricia Riedy.

Friends will be received Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 from 1-6pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 9:30am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue.  Masks and social distancing will be required for both events.
