Beverly Ann Hicks, 77, of Flat Rock passed away at Bellevue Hospital on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
She was born May 4, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Russell V. and Annabelle (Davis) Miller.
Beverly attended Monroeville High School and graduated in 1962. She was an employee at the GE Bellevue Lamp Plant until its closing. She then worked as a secretary/receptionist at Bellevue Manufacturing until her retirement.
She married Elmer R. Hicks on February 2, 1963 in Monroeville. He survives along with their four sons: Jeff(Deb) Hicks of Medina, Scott(Cheryl) Hicks of Clyde, Brian(Bea) Hicks of Zanesville, and Brad(Tanhan) Hicks of Bellevue. Nine grandchildren - Brendan, Breanna, Brittany, Christopher, Rebecca, Sean, Morgan, Easton, and Payton. She is also survived by her brothers Richard(Karen) Miller of Wooster, Donald(Frieda) Miller also of Wooster, and Jim(Paula) Miller of Larned, Kansas.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and brother Harry A. Miller.
Ever since the boys were young, nothing was more important to Bev than spending time with them. Her true reason for living was the love she had for her husband, her sons, and their families.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 3p.m until a service begins at 7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, Ohio.
