Betty Jane Norman

Betty J. Norman, 92, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at The Heritage in Findlay.  She was born August 19, 1928 in Bellevue the daughter of Theodore and Elizabeth (Meyer) Martin.

Betty was a graduate of Bellevue High School.  She married Forrest L. Norman on June 4, 1950 in Bellevue; He preceded her in death in 2004.

Betty was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Eagles Auxiliary.  She loved crafting and spent many hours making flower arrangements, painting, and decorating cakes.  She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. 

She is survived by her son, Terry (Lisa) Norman of Bellevue; daughter, Vickie (Alex) Meadows of Bellevue; 7 grandchildren: Gary Weller II, Gretchen Weller, Alex Meadows Jr., Christopher Meadows, Ryan Norman, Alyssa Norman, and Zachary Norman; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren..

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Smith and brother, Elmer “Tony” Martin.

Private services with burial in Bellevue Cemetery will be held.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
