Betty Meador Obituary

Betty Jo Meador, 90, of Bellevue passed away Friday, June 20, 2020 at The Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. She was born June 7, 1930 in Wyco, West Virginia the daughter of Frank and Dessie (Pruitt) Dowell.

Betty worked for the Whirlpool Corp. until her retirement in 1991. She married Wilford Meador on May 7, 1948; He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Meador of Bellevue; grandchildren: Dana L. (Paul) Ciccarello of Cuyahoga Heights, and Lucas W. (Pamela Pena) Chumley of Bellevue; 2 great grandchildren: Joey Ciccarello and Julia Cheyenne Pena; brother, Maxwell Dowell of West Virginia; sister, Charlene McGlothen of Tennessee; nephew: Keith (Rona) Bramer; niece, Karen Williams; daughter-in-law, Susan Meador, Deb Kinderman; lifelong “mom” Lois Marks Bentz; and significant other, Richard Witter.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons: David W. Meador and Larran Meador; brother-in-law, Dan Meador; and numerous brothers and sisters.

At Betty’s request there will be no services. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
