Betty Hamilton

Betty Hamilton, 84, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at her home.  She was born July 12, 1940 in Floyd County, Kentucky the daughter of Raymond and Rhoda (Tackett) Hamilton.

Betty was a homemaker and devoted follower of Jesus.  She can best be described as a prayer warrior and enjoyed attending church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed talking on the phone to stay in touch.

Betty is survived by her three sons: Carlos Tackett of Crossville, TN, Frank Tackett of Crossville, TN, Arie Hamilton of Kentucky; daughter, Loretta Akers of Bellevue; grandchildren: Tiffiny Davis, Emily Rardon, Emmanuel Harvey, Shelly Harvey, Renee Roe, Nick Harvey, Doug Vanelli, Evana Vanelli, Josh Tackett, Apryl Tackett, Mickey McKinny, Justin Tackett, and Brandy Tackett; Numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Andy Hamilton; and sister, Bonnie Sue Akers.

In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her children: James Harvey and Corrina Tackett; brothers, Butler Hamilton and Tivis Hamilton; and grandchildren: Steven Tackett and Nick McKinny.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from Noon - 3 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Additional services will be announced by Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
